New Years Eve
I was standing on the platform with another guy this morning waiting for the local train when the expensive train came by. The conductors asked how far we were going. This time I said to the city. They motioned for us to get on. THANK YOU! I turns out my city-bound train was running on a holiday schedule so if I missed my connection, I would have been sitting there for another hour! Thanks conductors for starting off my day great.
On the ride home, we were completely full leaving the city and completely full when we reached the connection, to the point the conductor asked us to stay seated until he instructed! I thought the local train said they would be adding more trains. I guess not because we had to wait about half an hour for the connection. It’s not all bad because we did get to leave early! Happy last day of the year.
