Somebody's Looking After Me
It was a cold morning again today. I was standing on the platform when the conductor from the expensive train called me over. He motioned for me to jump one. He let me ride into the city. Turns out he was worried that I was sick (blowing my nose thanks to the cold). Actually, I wasn’t feeling all that great this morning. Thanks for caring. It really means a lot. He mentioned being blessed again. If he only knew… With the regular rides just about coming back from vacation, I'm sure that's my last ride for a long time.
Oh and for more of a laugh. There was a football player on the train heading down south to one of the big cities. He walked into the food car at one point. Nope, didn’t recognize him and I couldn't tell you what his name was either.
