Another 3 inches.

So it looks like we got 3 inches with this last storm. Actually it wasn't all that bad because it was powder. I think that's the wonder of it being very cold. It doesn't get too sticky or heavy. But then again, that could make more snow drifting. Now that would be bad.

Call me amazed but I made it into the city on time. My local train was running late. I figured that I wouldn't make my connection, but somehow were were only a few minutes late getting to the station and they must have held the train. Somebody likes me up there today! And even though the train to the city was ininitally running late, we still made it on time. Boy was mom surprised. I called her to thank her for clearing me a path this morning. She called back a minute later in complete amazement that I made regular time.

Ok, so I still made it in before everyone else (had to figure out how to turn the lights on). We had a 2 hour delay, but given it can take 3 hours to get in on a day like this, I still end up leaving in the morning at the usual time. People are starting to filter in now. Let the work begin.
