Signs, signs everywhere there's signs...
Not to bring up an old song but I'm starting to believe it is true. The last five months have been on the surreal side - understatement. Anyway I have become (too) philosophical and keep an eye out for signs. I think the more powerful ones that I've come across was the license place I saw today. It was an abbreviated version of "forgiven".
To matters more interesting, I decided to pick myself up a "hard drive is unrecoverable" present. I figured out that I had a few extra dollars in my budget and since I had done such a good job at saving money, I was going to spend a bit of it. That sounds on the ironic site. Anyway, there are a few things I totally go frugal on - food I take to work, but when it comes to purses and accessories, I do go for the names. There's a boutique in town with a purse I've had my eye on for a few weeks now that I decided to actually buy.
Now driving into town isn't as bad as driving into the city but there are still people all over the place. Wouldn't you know just as I approach the intersection I loose the turning arrow. Apparently that wasn't good enough for the lady behind me because she constantly honked at me for not stealing right of way. Sorry, but I don't play those sort of games, especially at that intersection. Lady, you really need to calm down.
My usual parking lot was full (and missing some spaces due to construction equipment), but I found an open space on the street. It wasn't the easiest of spots to get into with an intersection right behind it, but I wasn't planning to be in town more than 15 minutes anyway. But, the meter still has an hour open on it. Nice! I think I saw the crazy lady driving passed me looking for parking spot. You really need to be a little less road rage! I ran into the store to pick up my bag - I might have gotten the last one in that color. And that's about it. At least I got out of town without another crazy person following me.

Updates
So after realizing that Google likes this entry for a search for the lyrics on the "Signs" song. I finally read the lyrics for the song. Wasn't quite what I realized. Go figure.
