Those Crazy Carnes

I don't remember how I originally stumbled on Carnivale, but I've been watching it since the beginning. For it being set in the Dust Bowl (who would have thought my Environmental History class would come in handy), you can really feel that dust. Anyway, the new season is a few episodes in and boy, it is getting stranger by the episode. It's not a show for the faint of heart (Is that the right phrase?), but a co-worker and I have been trading thoughts and theories about this show from the beginning. We've talked it up so much that another co-worker has queued it in his Netflix account. Now he too can see the wonders that are Carnivale.

And on a funny note, they released a soundtrack CD for the show (I'm assuming first season). It's probably mostly musical, if not all. I saw it at the bookstore last night and picked up a copy. I wonder if my co-worker will recognize the tunes?
