Living in the Twilight Zone?
It's been a heck (being on good behavior) of a week with everything going on - work, school, and the world. Anyway, over the weekend I watched a bit of the Royal wedding "stuff" (Charles and Camilla) on TV. One news article really caught my eye. It said, "The Queen and her husband Prince Philip would be attending the church ceremony". Call me crazy but that threw me for a huge double take. I can't remember ever hearing a word about Prince Philip before and figured he had passed before I was born (or at least when I was little). Oops. Sure enough, he's around. Poor guy. He rarely even gets a mention. (Ok, I will admit that I don't keep track of the royal family, but that seems like a huge miss.)
Crazy thing 2. I was sitting in the family room with mom eating dinner and just talking. Kind-of behind her chair, against the wall, I was a fairly large black spot. I think my eyes bugged out of my head because I thought it was a huge spider. Mom was watching me and I was watching it. And then, part of it started to move and crawl between the wall and carpet and then pop back up. My eyes bugged out even further. Mom looked over her shoulder and said it was fuzzy lint. I think I turned about 3 shades of white because I would have sworn up and down it moved. Sure enough, I got up and looked. It was two flies (one dead, one alive) on the floor. Thank goodness is was something otherwise I really thought I needed to go to the hospital – stat.
