I'm officially done
Well I have done it. I'm no longer unofficially done. I received my diploma today so I am officially completed (and been awarded) a Master of Information Systems. Considering I took 15 classes and got all As except for one class where I got a B (the fall semester was extraordinarily difficult but I got through it), I would have thought the diploma would have noted some sort of honors. It seems that the school doesn't award it honors for my area at the Masters level. I'm pretty disappointed honestly. I worked very hard to keep that GPA as high as possible.
So now that I have all this free time on my hands, I've been working on a few web-based projects and weeding the landscaping in the backyard. I try to get in about an hour a week. It never ends does it? I’m really tempted to dig up as much of the beds as possible and put down some thick gravel so that any future weeding is much easier. The weeds can’t get as good of a hold in thick gravel compared to regular soil. One problem at a time, I guess.
I still have a bug bite from my weeding activities of 2 weeks ago. I’m just a mess, aren’t I? And, apparently I had an allergic reaction to something during the week because I’ve been covered in spots since Monday or Tuesday. This probably counts as too much information. At least it's all covered by clothes so I don't look a complete freak. Every time I think it's getting better, it picks up steam again. This is starting to get annoying. I’m going to try taking a Benadryl tonight to see if that helps any. I am attending a wedding at the end of July. I hope I'm not spotted by then otherwise I'll have to buy a different dress so that I don't look so much like a freak.

Updates
Apparently that allergic reaction wasn't an allergic reaction at all. It was a goofy virus that doctors don't know how you get it (or pass it along) and it can take 6 weeks to clear up. Considering this has made a mess of my back, I hope I get to wear my back-less dress to a family function in a couple of week.
