Multiple Wish Lists in Amazon?

The Wish List feature has been around for a while, if memory serves and it usually doesn't. I’ve been using mine for what seems like years now to keep track of items that I want to purchase. I just don't advertise it to others. Hmmm, maybe I should? I'll have to give that some thought.

Anyway, today I was checking out my wish list to see if there was anything else that I wanted to grab on my way to the checked when I discovered something very existing. Amazon lets us create multiple wish lists. Sweet!!! I don't know how long (as usual) that's been available. My existing wish list was cluttered with DVDs, CDs, web design books, cookbooks, DIY books and even some software. It was getting difficult to find stuff.

I noticed while I was viewing my existing wish list a breadcrumb link to "My Wish Lists". Upon further inspection, I found out how to created new lists. The utility to move items between lists was pretty easy to use, I am happy to report. One suggestion: start from the end of your list and work your way backwards. That made bulk moving easier and less likely to miss things.

So, I created separate wish lists for DVDs, CDs and cookbooks. Now I have four lists and things should be easier to find now. I even added a few more items today and noticed a nifty feature. When I hit "Add to wish list" it adds it to my default list, but just at the bottom of the box is the "move" option. I may be able to keep this all organized!

Now the real question, how long have I been missing out?
