Happy Halloween! Where did October Go?
Another month has come and gone, as today is Halloween. I like Halloween but it seems to be loosing its pervasiveness in the grown-up world. How about a little bit of fun people?
So what happened this month? Good question. I celebrated my birthday the same way I celebrated my 21st. 2 words – Atlantic City. I didn't do so well on the blackjack tables with my $40 but I did better with Mom’s $20 at the money wheel. Hmmm. My gaming strategy may have to change. We had lunch at a great retro dinner like place and I spent way too much money at the outlet stores. But hey, it was my birthday. I bought the cutest gallery tote bag from the Coach Outlet. I've been using it daily since so it was a worthwhile purchase. And, I received several comments on my pink Timberlanes (yes, girlie-girl construction worker boots).
I tracked down a few old high school friends using one of those online communities. It’s been great catching up with them. It's almost like having a social life again, lol.
I guess things have been fairly quiet otherwise. I banked a few more dollars through my part-time consulting gig. It's all about saving to buy a townhouse. Yes, I'd have to say that’s about it. Things have been pretty status quo. Maybe I shouldn't say that because just when things seem to calm down, all hell manages to break loose again. Quick, run and hide!!!
