Transit Strike, Morning 2

My local train was late again. So much for catching a 6:03 AM. It keeps coming at the old time. UGH! I even rushed to get there on time.

They didn't give us the extra car again today for the ride into the city. Lovely! My train buddy and I grabbed a 2-seater near the front of the last car to be on the safe side. Needless to say we couldn't make all the stops because we were filled passed the brim. It got even worse once we arrived at the first city stop and the people we let off were replaced by new people. For our stop, my friend and I got up a bit in advance and had to squeeze our way into the aisle so someone else could take our spots. She was holding my bag as I tried to convince another guy to turn sideways to take up less room. That didn't go over too well.

I hope this strike is short. I'm off the rest of the week. Thank goodness. I just have to make it home tonight.
