My Quest to Read the Grisham Books
Since Crichton and Brown don’t pop books out monthly and I now have time on my hands to read, I’ve had to find an additional author to fill my bookshelf. So I’ve decided in lawyer-related books. I considered going to law school for about 5 minutes 5 years ago when the opportunity presented itself but ultimately decided against it because while I’d really like to learn more about the law, I don’t think I want to be a practicing lawyer. I’m not really known for quick thinking on my feet so I don’t think I’d be stellar at trial. Anyway…
I finished The Broker last week and really enjoyed it but then again I like stories about witness protection and covert operations (spy-like). I have four more on order (The Brethren, The Testament, The Street Lawyer and The Partner) because I found really good deals on Amazon. I figure I’ll pop into the library tomorrow and pick up a hardcover book that I can read this weekend. There’s big snow in the forecast and I’m trying a hobby that’s not computer-related for once.
