I'm Off The Bottom

It really is no wonder they call it "March Madness". And, who would have thought I'd get somewhat interested in basketball - or at least watching the brackets. That's not to say my picks were particularly wonderful.

I was about to change my bracket nickname to "HidingUnderMyDesk" because I was all intents and purposes at the bottom of the bracket pool, but thanks to UCLA winning the other night and another decent night good night, I've moved from the 20th percentile to the 50th percentile. I was at the 2 percentile for a little while! And the only reason that I wasn't exactly last was because one person signed up but didn't submit a bracket so they're running a definative "0".

I definitely see where my mistakes were early on and I need to do a bit more research before picking teams. I'm pretty excited to participate in another pool next year. It's fairly certain that I can kiss my "5 clams" good bye but that’s ok. It's been fun and there are still 2 rounds to go!
