So Much To Do

One day and counting until take off. I ran around the world today picking up stuff like mini shampoos. My goal: toss what I can at then end of the trip so I don't have to carry it back.

I did breakdown and pick up a new digital camera. Turns out you really can't get SmartCards easily any more and since my Dell PDA takes SD cards, I could justify the expense. Or, at least that is what I keep telling myself.

So I bought a Canon Powershot A620. I think I got a good deal considering it's 7.1 megapixels with all kinds of shooting options - bright light, twilight, night, landscape, etc. It really does make it easier for the average schmoe like me to take good pictures. We'll see. I did pick up a 2GB SD card to put in it, which should hold about 500 pictures. I think if I'll be happy if I take at least 10 photos during the entire vacation.
