Weird Day
With all the weird stuff today, I would have thought it was a full moon. My morning train was about 20 minutes late so I missed my connection. At least I got a chance to say hi to one of my former train buddies. On the way home, my train stopped short on the platform and left us walking in the rain. I still have no idea why they pulled the brakes the way they did to come to a quick stop.
When I got home there were a bunch of utility trucks parked in front of the house digging up that grassy curb area. One of the neighbors lost power, not us. Getting in the driveway required a fair amount of maneuvering in the dark. Apparently they’ve been out there for hours and hours. And, just for their own fun, it's really raining now. I admit that I'm worried because they are digging a pretty deep hole next to a pretty big tree. With the rain, I'm concerned about the stability of the tree.
