Just call it Dexter
Mom and I decided to run up to a little shopping village in Pennsy to check out the Scandinavian store. It also so happens that there’s a Coach outlet in the same vicinity. I definitely have a weak spot for their bags and various accessories.
Wouldn't you know that we found it fairly by accident? Despite trying to resist the temptation I went a little crazy in the store because they had both the swing pack and tote bag from the new holiday patchwork collection on sale plus an extra discount. It seems now that Mom has crossed over to the darkside. She found a bag that she liked. I offered to buy it for her for Christmas. Ok so it defeats the purpose of a surprise but I have a few ideas for a few extras.
I will admit to spending a fair amount of money today, but some of it was for a good cause. I picked up a few toys for a charity donation that a department at the company I work for is doing for the holidays. I ran by the mall and found a shirt to wear for the holidays. Apparently I was sporting good karma today because one of the extra shirts I picked up rang up for $5 instead of $25.
And I'm sporting a super cute new haircut too. I finally got around to making an appointment at the salon. The girl that had been cutting my hair hasn't returned from maternity (yet, maybe for good) so they set me up with someone new. I really like the new cut. It came out well. Once you embrace that there are battles you can't fix about your hair, it really makes decisions much easier.
Oh so anyway, I was sitting here tonight, surfing the web and watching Dexter. I totally called it that the prosthetic doctor guy was the Ice Truck killer when they first introduced him. Can we say ironic that the serial killer Dexter works for the PD as a blood specialist and the doctor likes to chop people up? Right, anyway Mom came up and said how cute it was. Dexter? Texture? No Dexter. Dexter? Oh you mean the bag, not the show. It looks like my bag now has a name. And now for a little philosophizing with Socrates, but that's another story.
