Great Car Accessory
While we were buying Mom's new car Monday, I saw a nifty car accessory that I wanted to have but thought I could do better on price at a large discounter instead of the dealership. Anyway, what I was looking at was a cargo crate for the trunk.
Every weekend I do my usual rounds to Target, the supermarket, etc. etc. etc. Driving with milk in the car makes me completely paranoid because the sound of that container falling over always makes me fear it splitting open. In theory this cargo crate should help keep that from happening.
Target didn't have the exact one that I had seen at the dealership, but had something close enough for half the price. It has two cool features. First it can fold flat. That's a great space-saving trick. Second, it has Velcro on the bottom to keep it from slipping around. It was strong enough to hold as I drove home with my usual purchases. Everything stayed pretty much in its place. My half-gallon of milk did fall over. I think if fill the crate differently, that won't happen again. And I'm sure if I had to a quick stop all bets are off. For regular driving, I think I have a winner.
And for fun, it's pink. When in the world did I turn into such a pink-lover?
