Holding My Breath

When I arrived home Friday night and attempted to boot my laptop, I was greeted with a fun blue screen. OK, these things happen sometimes, let's start over. Blue screen. One more try. Nothing. Really.

It seems that my motherboard failed. Now that adds to my stress level. I tried to remove the hard drive (what is really important to me) and bought an enclosure. Apparently it's the wrong socket version or something. Great. Stress. Level. Rising. I'm going run back to Best Buy as soon as they open to see if they have the right one. Otherwise my neighbor has "people" I'll try. My core important files were last backed up on Mozy Tuesday night so I'm not too far behind.

My first resolution after this is over is to upgrade my Mozy account to Pro for unlimited space. Until then I have to keep telling myself my hard drive is fine. My hard drive is fine. My hard drive is fine. Please pray and make offerings to every god you can think of. I'd really appreciate it.
