Some Fuchsia and White

I think it was last weekend that I picked up another bottle from OPI's Designer Series called divine, a holographic medium pink/fuchsia. I wanted to wear it this week but trying to find a matching summer toe color proved to be a bit difficult. Bogota Blackberry would make a great accompant but really wasn't what I was looking for. I decided on Fit For A Queensland, which is a white with a slight pink shimmer. I was trying for white-out white. This comes pretty close.

My choice of toe color turned out to be completely ironic in hindsight. This evening I attended a summer theater performance of Yasmina Reza's play Art, which focuses around three friends arguing around a white painting. Besides the fact that it was well presented, the fact I happened to choose white nail polish is funny. Maybe I'm a little psychic. Now if only I could apply my talent to lottery numbers...

This past week I did notice some nail peeling (nail, not just polish). I'm not quite sure how much more peeling I'll see this week. My nails did survive a round of weeding today better than I expected. Though I still think that for nails that seem to be more prone to polish peeling, slower-drying/curing top coats seems to be the way to go. There is one other Essie top coat product that does not advertise as fast drying that would be interesting to experiment with at some point.

Until next week.
