Running After Someone Else's Train
To my suprise I saw a double-decker train this morning. I actually ran to it so I could get a better look, even though it wasn't my train.

Karma Kursed?
I have a lovely head cold and the torture was made that much more fun with a late-running train.

I Would Swear It Was Still The Full Moon
The full moon this time around seems to influenced both train conductors and DVDs.

Just tell yourself it was a deadhead
I missed my connection and commiserated with a few other train riders.

Apparently They Weren't Lying This Time
It’s hard to believe the “board from the low platform” announcements after they weren’t correct the pervious two times. This time, apparently they weren’t lying.

Did He Really Just Ask Me That?
I left work a little early because I wasn't feeling well. On the train, the conductor started taking to me about my Coach bag. Apparently his girlfriend is also a fan.

Full Moon is Over
It's been a crazy week, maybe fulled by the full moon. Work was hectic, but I did find five dollars while in the train station. That was a nice suprise.

Commuting Fiascos Come In Threes
Had a difficult commute into work between passenger injury, wire problems and signal failure. All in all, thanks to the expensive train, I arrived only about 15 minutes later than usual. With the flooding, I was worried all day if the tracks would stay above water.

Roll Me Away
This morning one of the regular cars rolled out of it’s spot and blocked a lane at the train station’s parking lot. Apparently there's more to the story because the older gentleman that owns the car has no memory the car. I think the Cop was in pure amazement over the whole thing.

Was She Talking To Me?
I'm not sure if a lady on the platform was mouthing to me, from a distance, that she thought my hair was cute. I really thought she was talking to someone behind me. I hope I didn’t snub a nice compliment!

Maybe Today Wasn’t So Bad After All (updated)
I tried leaving early from work to avoid having to rush to a doctor's appointment only to get stuck for about an hour with train problems. I did find 2 4-leaf clovers which seem to make things not so bad after all.

Did He Sniff That?
There were some strange smells at the train station this morning.

Something To The Effect There Was A Fire At The Train Yard
There was some sort of problem at the train yard, a fire, that had everything running very late. Thinking things weren't as bad as they actually were I thought I'd wait for the next train. At least I finally made it to work.

The Train Tried to Leave Without Me Again
It's a difficult train day. The morning train almost left without me and in the evening I jumped on a train heading toward the yard. At least we got off before we ended up in the yard.

Slipping and Sliding on the Rails
Slippery rails made for a long train ride home tonight. It also made for cranky riders. At least there were free pretzels. Thanks!

My Sense Of Smell Is Miss-Wired
There was a strange smell at the one station today that I just didn't smell. My sense of smell must be miss-wired or something.

Transit Strike, Morning 2
Without an extra car, this morning's ride was tight on the second morning for the transit strike. Getting off the train at our usual stop was a project in itself. I hope this strike is short!!!

Transit Strike, First Night
The first ride home with the transit strike was long between waiting in line and having a mechancial problem with the train.

A Transit Strike, Oh Goodie
There's a transit strike in the city that I work. My trains were affected. At odds are topics including health insurance and raises. They seem to be asking for more than is considering standard in the current employment environment. Makes it hard to sympathize with the union members.

There's That Guy Again
I saw a guy on the train again that previously asked for train ticket money. There was another guy on the platform giving a story, trying to get money too, but I'm not sure if he actually was planning to get on a train.

I Am Still the Trainfly
Despite having the crew changed on my local train, one conductor picked up on our pattern of changing cars and has started sneaking us into closed cars ahead of the others. It’s just too funny.

Scenic Route to Work
Power problems on my usual train route left me taking the scenic route after I decided not to go my usual backup route. That made things a lot longer but maybe made a few new friends in the process.

The Train that Almost Got Away (updated)
Yet another chapter in the train riding saga. Just as we arrived at the station, with what I thought was a minute to spare, the connecting train pulled away. Luckily the train did stop and despite the thoughts of another conductor, they did open the doors and let us on. Good things can happen if you’re persistent.

Personal Space, hello!!!
Personal space on a train is very important and sometimes people don't always get the concept and crowd you (or me) into the window. Annoying.

Who Said Getting Home is Easy?
The crazy adventure of me and a few other people taking the long, scenic route home (using 3 trains) when usual trains lost power and we were told find another way home. At least I knew of another way home.
